AMT-TM500 total manganese on-line analyzer adopts formaldoxime spectrophotometry. Under acidic conditions, persulfate converts all forms of manganese to heptavalent manganese. Hydroxylamine hydrochloride reduced all manganese heptavalent in the sample to manganese divalent; Under alkaline conditions, manganese divalent reacts with formaldehyde oxime to form a brown complex. Its absorbance is measured at 450m wavelength and converted to the corresponding concentration value.

Through a number of independent patents and proprietary technologies, the sensitivity and precision of Class I instruments have been greatly improved, so that Class I instruments can be effectively applied to the measurement of manganese in surface water or drinking water source environment.

The infection of most ions (including calcium/magnesium) is controlled at ±5%, so it can be effectively applied to the measurement of manganese in high saline soil and even in seawater environment.

The influence of water sample turbidity or blackness or color on measurement is effectively solved.

The range can be extended to 0~3000mg/ son (precision ≤3%).
